Ok, I think we ALL know how AI has been present in NSFW content and of course AI Bara exist, and its impact is such that has made some bara artist find other target, but the thing is, why has Bara AI turned so popular to have such impact?
Like ok, porn sell, but that shouldn’t be all because that can be applied to both artist’s work and AI’s stuff. And I think most would prefer artist’s work.
AI is “faster” to “”made”” because it all consists in writing a prompt, unlike actual draw, but don’t know if that is also enough because in most cases is easy to spot an AI user by how fast they post stuff and also for how “comercial” their stuff looks (of course also seeing is a copy from another artist’s artstyle). (Is like eating in a Mcdonal that despite be everywhere and all, if you could, you would go to another restaurant).
This point is kinda related to that “eating a McDonald” feeling, where AI users will charge less money for “commissions”, what make their stuff cheaper and no matter what you are selling there will be always a market that will go for cheaper options, this can be part of that “charm” that people just want to pay less.
So, I gather those points, but I have one that I think is why AI Bara is liked and is ironically the niche content that some AI users has made… In an already niche fandom. Basically, there’s more % to see a forgotten bara husbando on AI stuff than in an artist’s work, of course I don’t blame the artist at all, because all of their draws mean time and resources, so they won’t just draw any husbando on existence and if they do is because they were fans already, but they still can’t do them all, unlike AI users that all they have to do is write a prompt.
I think this niche content they do is what attract more people, because they see content they never thought they would saw with an artist and now add there’s times they add particular kinks that attract more people (like orcs, crossovers, simbiotes, hypnosis, etc) that yeah artist can also do, but again the % are lower.
In a nutshell, I think Bara AI is getting popular mostly because it ironically has niche content that is hard to find with artist, what made the fandom look at them and so get more viewed and apart that also add their cheaper prices that attract people… Do you guys think in another possible reason?
Just in case, I don’t justify the use of AI or something, just trying to understand why is getting popular.
