sorry to bother again, but im going crazy over not remembering. mc was accused of murdering someone when in reality the victim killed himself because of his also abusive brother, realized that the ml hated him before his execution and then dies. he time leaps to before he met the ml, and quits his job as a nepo baby office worker and becomes extremely depressed. he has a secretary of sorts who checks up on him like a mother, and so does his best friend. he becomes friends with the “victim” in the previous life and makes sure the best friend treats him well to not be accused again. when he meets the ml again he tries his best not to catch his attention to not bring back old scars and is shocked at how in this time leap the ml is considerably nicer to him and tries to win him over. in short, he realizes that the reason why the ml used to hate him was because he asked him to stay over and his sister was killed, and that the ml was having dreams of before the time leap of the mc and was jealous of himself. they go to a psychic or therapist and they both recover memories and get better together. there were also side stories of the “victim” and mcs best friend, both were complex characters. also, the ml was an actor but quit after they got back together.
