These best of these was definitely “I can’t stand another Night alone”. A story of two veterans in the 50s from rival countries dealing with the trauma of war and the homophobic times falling in love with each other. OMG! This had me in tears, a must have in my opinion
The second fave would “The beasts descent into love” which is about a thief that rescued a humanoid creature that has been sold for pleasure dealing with the cultural differences and animosity as well as pursuit of the ‘owner’. It was such a cute, fun and intriguing read. Definitely worth it.
Last but not least. “Imitation play”. About a promiscuous boy that faces the consequences of asking the only person he actually ever liked romantically to be fuck buddies. This was very lighthearted but also with the right amount of angst and I did enjoyed it.
