I’m trying to go back and read some older, completed series that I haven’t gotten around to. I’ve seen a LOT of posts about Third Ending, so I figured it was a good place to start.
I liked season one for the story. I though it was cute, even though Yoonseul is fucking infuriating. It was still a sweet story about this guy coming to terms with his sexuality. And Jun is my sweet baby boy, and I love him.
Season two was… Okay, the art was fantastic. 10/10 smut if we’re just rating it for the smut. But so much of season two just felt like Jun getting pressured into situations he was uncomfortable with. And their first time was actually terrible to read. 😅
Compared to so many toxic BLs, this was basically fluffy. Overall, I did enjoy reading it. But I walked away feeling like Jun deserved better. I wish he had a close friend to tell him he doesnt need to settle for the first dude who made his heart flutter. And that Yoonseul made up for being wishy-washy and manipulative in the beginning, by becoming obsessive and pushing boundaries later. 😒 It felt unsatisfying.
I give it a 7/10. I probably won’t reread it, but I did mostly enjoy it.
