Blood Bank was the first Korean webtoon I ever read and I re-read it today after seeing someone post about it here. At the end of the manhwa the author said in an epilogue Q&A page that they had ideas for new works and intended on side stories, but instead their online presence seemed to completely disappear.
Their x account was abandoned right after and they never released a single thing again. Did they run into some kind of backlash or do you think it’s more likely they decided to close that chapter (making manhwa) of their life? I always hoped for the best for them. I was 20 when Blood Bank came out and it’s safe to say, although this is a little dramatic, that it changed my brain permanently.
