- Made a Penguin Alignment Compass a while back, and it’s cool to see what unique aspect they bring to the table, while still respecting the source material. And even more radical takes like Devito’s and Telltale’s are still memorable and/or interesting.
- Alfred, good ol’ Alfred. Never loses his loyalty (except at the end of The Enemy Within, but there were reasons for that) or snark. His role as the person who grounds Batman is prevalent, and when he’s absent, Batman consistently struggles more for it. Wild how he’s been dead in the comics for 7 years now.
- Every adaptation and writer can easily realize Doc Ock’s intelligence making him a dark reflection of Spidey. A lot of people cite the one from the 2017 cartoon as the worst, but even that show gave him a character arc via the Superior Spider-Man storyline. And unlike the comics, his development stuck permanently. As further proof of his superiority: lineups change every time the Sinister Six is adapted, but he is always—rightfully—the leader/founder.
- I included Kingpin because I needed a fourth person. /j
