I think many knows that in mainstream or no-bara animes, relative manly/old/buff men tend to not have happy endings or just reach the ending, but I was wondering how many manly characters actually meets this fate or you just felt they were done dirty.
For me I can think in this 4:
Escanor from Nanatsu no Taizai – The only one that died or have meet an “end” (I know he technically return, but is the only one from the group that get a death scene).
Sussano from Akame Ga Kill – I know this kind of anime you expect any to die and even some waifus meet their end in this anime, but don’t know I think he could endure more.
Gyomei from Kimetsu no Yaiba – as with Sussano, in Kimetsu is expect that any can die, but I feel it suck he was the only one with a “certain death” because his mark, like yeah everyone else also have it, but they could life a bit more, Gyomei directly was done once he unlocked his mark.
Isao from Kaiju 8 – I don’t want to say much, but let’s say no one end like him…
So yeah, which husbando you think was done dirty by their author?
